Project Diary - 11/04/2013
Through numerous group discussions we have finalised all features we would like to have in the game and thought through the different issues we might face when trying to implement them. However I'll keep those features a secret for now so you don't get too excited.
We have decided what the island should look like and the different zones it should house, we have also spoken about the different rocks and foliage that will appear in the different locations around the island.

Project Diary - 25/04/2013
The island shape and terrain has been created, though untextured you can really get a feel for the scale of the game we are trying to create. We have also started to create some tracks for ambient noises, and general music tracks that will be placed in game.
Work on numerous models has begun such as the different rocks that will be appearing throughout the island. We have also begun work on the overall game structure and rules that will be present behind the scenes.

Project Diary - 20/06/2013
Earlier this month we linked our Twitter, Facebook and Youtube accounts to our website, so go and check those out if you haven't already, we will be posting regularly on those when there is something exciting we want to share with you.
Good progress has been made preparing our modelling assets for the game, some trees and grass have been completed, but work still carries on to complete more. You can see some screenshots of the work he has been doing on our different community pages.
Good progress has also been made on the sound effects for the game such as footsteps on different surfaces and ambient sounds that will occur in different areas of the game.
We have also decide that it would be in the team's best interests to start a Kickstarter project. This project will be to fund the purchase of licenses to software that will help us create an even greater game. The software will mean all our texture will be more detailed and creating models will be a much quicker and smoother process. Which in turn will then mean a more diverse environment for players to roam free in. We aim to have everything we need to create the Kickstarter project by the end of this year, so stay tuned for that as we will be announcing it on the website and on all of our community pages.
